Built with features that Australian farmers have asked for and further developed off the back of real-world field testing, Brüder compressors are a practical, safe, and reliable air compressor that are resilient and inspire confidence.

We recognise that grain harvest blow-down is arguably one of the most demanding tasks* for portable air compressors and are proud to have developed the only purpose-built air compressor for agriculture.

*This is based from these factors:

  • Australian grain harvest happens during hotter months of the year.
  • Dust and airborne particles are a large risk factor.
  • Hazards relating to flammable crops.
  • Farm properties are too harsh for many trailer-mounted machines.
  • Blowing off machinery has very little back pressure - i.e. compressor valves wide open with no restriction.

To combat this, and bring to market a machine perfectly tailored to the job, Brüder have developed the AG176 - our most popular model - which is purpose-made for the job. This machine has the following key features;

  • Clever in-cabinet airflow design which optimises cool air flow and separates hot zones with the effective use of a firewall.
  • Integrated cabinet baffle system which excludes the largest airborne debris particles.
  • Effective air filtration system for better engine/compressor breathing and heat management.
  • Engine management via electronic controller.
  • Insulated cabinet for safety (sound) and heat management. 
  • Top exit exhaust to prevent crop fires starting from the compressor.
  • Road-registerable heavy duty trailer with off-road tyres, high ground clearance, checkerplate surfaces, and a spare as standard^
  • Higher flow rate compressor with 1/3rd more capacity than needed to run the highly effective Force 5 Megablaster blowgun - which provides it's own back pressure.
