Compressed air quick-connect fittings for high flow applications including machine blowdown. We stock different options to suit various requirements and budgets.

Minsup claw couplers are widely used in industrial compressed air applications for civil, mining, earthmoving and farming. They provide a high flow connection with no moving parts, and do not require lubrication. Minsup claw couplers are available in Type A, Type B or Surelock (SL) variants, as well as many other various international and/or proprietary industry or manufacturer-specific types. These are sometimes difficult to identify visually. Only the Type A minsup claw couplers are sold here.

These fittings have no internal valve mechanism, so the compressed air source must be shut off and drained prior to disconnection. Additionally, the connection does not swivel.

Nitto 100-series Quick Connect couplers are a great alternative to the claw couplers, and are supplied as standard with every Hose Reel/Force 5 Megablaster Combo sold. They provide a high flow connection and the couplers (female side) have an internal valve mechanism that shuts off the air supply when disconnected. The connection swivels to provide versatility and maneuverability especially in tight/awkward areas and reduce hose tangles/kinking.

Nitto Hi-Cuplas are the most popular choice for workshop and lower flow applications, such as tyre filling, sanding, grinding, painting and more. Sometimes referred to as ‘Japanese style’, they are the most common type of quick connect coupling for smaller workshop air compressors sold in Australia. There are also many inferior copies on the market, many of which are incompatible with the genuine. Only the genuine Nitto Hi-Cupla fittings are sold here.
